Location: as the final boss of the layer of treachery as well as the entire game

Description: The lord of the underworld himself, a massive demon formed from the first Akumapon fused with the fifth drum, who will under no circumstances go easy on you; this is the final battle, so make it count. Throughout the entire battle an energy orb in his chest will latch onto all six of your units and slowly transfer their stamina to him; so I’d advise that you take him out quickly. Note that once defeated, you can acquire his axe as an item and that all of his attacks possess every element.

Attacks:
-Axe slash
-Axe spin
-Fever Brake: emits a roar that immediately brakes fever.
-Enemy spawn: axe glows white and when used, will spawn 3 random enemies from any of the layers.
-Living Shield: holds Meden in front of himself to meet your projectiles (not that fire attacks will actually hurt her).
-Death Breath: breaths a violet mist that halves the states of all your units (is permanent until pata-pon-don-chaka is used)
-Vice grip: wraps tail around 3 units and slowly squeezes the life out of them until staggered or till the units die.
-Stomp: causes an earthquake and firewalls
- Death Swing: slams tail on the ground causing all units with a KB resistance below 200% to fly in the air, where he’ll swing at them with his axe in a horizontal movement.
-Flight: flies around while attacking, staggering your units with the back draft and staying out of reach from the melee units.
-Super combo: performs all attacks simultaneously
-Dragon breath: breathes a torrent of fame
-Shadow Breathe: breathes a black smokescreen that temporarily hides his movements (omit with rain)
-Pyro: holds out free hand and conjured 3 fire tornadoes
-Super slam: performs a front flip to perform a double-handed axe slam
-Magic shield: temporarily conjures a glowing shield twice his size
-Magic spear: conjures an electric spear to throw at your army
-Tri-combo: rapidly performs 3 of the previous attacks simutaneously


Final Sequence: The Great Demon slams axe forward
-Spear unit jumps on it, runs forward and cuts the chain to Meden’s cage (triangle-rapid X-O)
-The Arrow unit then runs below to catch it (square to catch)
-Enraged, the demon slams axe again, but the Melee hero grabs it and the two both fight two push it one-way or the other (rapid O)
-Once forcing it aside the Melee class uses the opening to throw the Spear hero forward who launches a projectile into each eye (X-Triangle-Triangle)
-Confused, The monster turns around and the spear hero runs up it’s tail before cutting off the wings with some strikes (rapid square-rapid O)
-This causes the demon to whip forward again where the melee hero breaks its leg armour (X-O)
-Causing it to fall to its knees so that all 3 heroes can attack the spikes protecting the energy sphere in its chest (attack chant till 200,000 damage is performed)
-Finally, now that the orb is revealed; each hero grabs a regular Patapon unit and throws them at the sphere to perform a triple stab (X-L+R)
-Causing the demon to burn with blinding light till it explodes, leaving behind a shattered drum and an unconscious Akumapon

Pulling this off rewards you with a whopping 100 jewelled chests and 10 Pink jewelled chests; however failing is different this time. If you fail, one of two occurrences happen:

1.If you chose to kill Phlegyas when fighting him, the great demon will strike forward with a crushing blow using his axe. If any of your units survive, the final sequence will repeat.

2. If you chose to side with Phlegyas, the great demon will strike forward, but Phlegyas will fly in and intercept. While the two monsters fight for the axe, an opportunity will open to attack the demon’s chest.
